Detoxification
What is Detoxification or Detox? It is the body’s natural, ongoing process of neutralizing or eliminating toxins from the body. These toxins are then excreted via stool, urine, sweat and breathe.
Sources of toxins include the body’s normal biological processes. Toxins (anything potentially harmful to body tissue) also come from the environment in the air we breathe, pesticides, fungicides, the water we drink, cigarette smoke, heavy metals, and the list can go on and on.
